HRForecast Getaway Session 2018
New ideas sometimes require new surroundings: what can be better as a remote idyllic place in the middle of nowhere in Germany without WIFI and any other forms of connectivity? So, the location was set, the bags were packed and the HRForecast teams were heading from Bremen and Munich to meet for an exciting getaway session somewhere near Bonn. We were about to spend four days together, brainstorming and pushing our creativity and knowledge eagerness to the next level.
Day 01: Settling
After managing to escape the big city hustle and traffic jams we reached our destination. Perfect as it was: very green, sunny and capable to host all HRForecast members our villa was waiting for us.
Day 02: Knowledge Exchange
Not only a new environment, but also new points of view and active discussions help to born new ideas. That’s why we were joined by amazing visionary members from some of our clients – Dt. Telekom, Lufthansa and ESCP – to participate in the brainstorming sessions. After having shared best practices, we deepened into discussion of “Future of HR”, neural organisations and new technologies. The productive atmosphere was supported by sun, fresh air and casualness.
The brainstorming session was followed by the BBQ session. All the participants were rewarded with a decent portion of food accompanied by other fun outdoor activities.
Day 3: Kicking out Ideas
Next day was devoted to internal breakout sessions. The aim was to develop further exiting ideas and technologies and to brainstorm new strategic directions of the HRForecast. Spending time together outdoors and thinking on old and new topics turned out to be not only very productive, but also fun and exciting.
Self-organized catering was supporting us during the whole getaway and was a fun part of a team building.
Shaping the Future – this is the vision of HRForecast. This getaway weekend was a further evidence for us, that as a team you can shape not only the future, but also each others minds by learning, getting inspired and pushed forward by each other.
