New features
Browse redesign
We are happy to announce that we redesigned Browse section. First of all, Browse renamed to Marketplace. Within new design all Job, Gig and Event posts are now placed in different tabs, that will help you easier navigate, search and filter posts.
- We also added possibility to search posts by skills name and by location.
- We moved the posts where user has interacted (Invited, Interested, Accepted, Declined tabs) to the separate page named My posts.
- We added Filter to all pages of the Marketplace: now you can filter the list of posts on My posts, search results and All posts pages.
- We’ve improved the main page of posts recommendations, so that user will receive the best post recommendations. Also, we added addition list of recommended called More interesting jobs/gigs/events if there are not enough well matched posts for the user.
- For better user experience, added tag ” Event without skill requirements” to all event posts without skills.
Role access for training libraries
This update brings you the possibility to restrict access to training libraries by user roles. Users with selected roles for certain training library will have the possibility to see and work with trainings from this library, other users will not see trainings from this library in smartPeople. To set up training library restriction SP admin should set access on Libraries page.
Mobile changes
All the pages of Learning & Development section are now adapted to use them on mobile devices.
Improvements
Description field of the posts
- Added a possibility to format the text in the description field of posts
- It is possible now to add links to the post description
Posts
Within this update user can see which skills of candidates are matched as similar within extended match of the post. On Candidate matching page tag Related is displayed with the information which user skills are similar to the post requirement.
Trainings
Trainings are now prefiltered by the language of the UI in the search. If training is searched in English – all training in English language will be displayed, if training is searched in German – all trainings in English and German languages will be displayed.
Development review
If user and team leader completed review, then team leader reopened it and then review got expired – status of the review is displayed as “Completed” now.
Permissions
Some permissions for Connect & Grow feature were adjusted in order to improve behavior of enabling / disabling the feature.
Bug fixes
- Fixed a bug that prevented the admin role from accessing trainings via browse.
- Fixed a bug with sorting the search in Team Management: Build.
- Fixed a bug that caused a crash of the app when deleting a meetup.
- Fixed a bug that prevented the HR role from seeing training recommendations for other users.
- Fixed a bug that showed the learning and development banner in the Team management that shouldn’t be displayed.
- Fixed a bug in custom fields that showed duplicated entries as filters in browse.
- Fixed a bug that caused a crash when a deleted custom field was used in a post.
