smartLibrary
New features
- Skill highlighter
Happy to announce our new Skill highlighter feature! Use the tool to find in-demand skills in any text or file you have and add them to your library. In addition to skills, you can also add highlights as keywords. - Operating model library
A new type of library is now available for use. From here on, you can create a library and populate it with operating models to visualize how your company executes its strategy and define your company’s organizational structure that helps achieve the goal. - Connecting training library to HRForecast skill library
Manage the HRForecast skill library to the needs of your company. From now on, you get the possibility to connect training libraries to the standard HRForecast library. The changes become available only in your environment.
Enhancements
- Ordering of results for the search and filter features in all available libraries has been optimized. In search, it is based on the names and keywords; for the filter feature, it is based on names.
- The default search state has been implemented for the search feature: if you start entering a search text, the results are sorted by name match in the table; once you entered the search query, you can further sort your search results by any column heading in the table; once you enter additional text to the existing search query, the previous sorting is discarded and new search results are sorted by name match again.
- To optimize the performance and retrieve the relevant data, only one value is now used to denote keywords in the database.
- In addition to letters and numbers, special characters are now also considered when ordering the search results in the Filter pane.
- Disconnecting skill and training libraries from a job library removes all data of those libraries as well. Once you disconnect a skill library from a job library, the skills of that library are not used in the job library anymore. The same is true for the training library and its trainings.
- For a better user experience, it is now possible to delete a keyword, for which you remove the name while editing it, by clicking the three dots button, and then clicking Delete.
- When you try to delete an item and replace it with another item, in the confirmation dialog, you can view the names of items as they appear in the draft version of the library.
- For a better user experience, we now communicate to you that no market data is available to give you key indicators and insights on the job relevance you have currently open.
- If skill suggestions based on the market data become available for any job, you can see a blue mark within that job record in the table on the library page.
- You are prompted to review market data only when new skill updates become available and loaded for specific jobs.
- The current update makes it possible to filter jobs in a library by the availability of market updates for current job profiles or future job profiles, or both.
- To make your experience with smartLibrary better, we have improved the performance of most application areas.
- The current enhancement makes it possible to filter items in a library by such ones that do not have a custom ID.
- For better interaction with the application, there are now two different icons to denote two different types of deletion: hard and soft.
- To prevent accidental actions, you are now requested to confirm your decision to disconnect libraries.
- For better interaction with the application, using only a keyboard is now possible to navigate through a page and select elements.
- For a better user experience, you now get prompted about any duplicates when adding a job, a skill, or a training to the library or managing it in the details pane. You can decide whether to continue adding duplicating names, taxonomies, etc., or type another. If you confirm adding a duplicate, you can view a list of duplicates including even items that were previously softly deleted.
- To make your experience with smartLibrary better, we have implemented the button by clicking which you can clear the input text in all languages at a time for details of jobs, skills, and trainings.
- As a user interface improvement, you now get the possibility to clear the search field in the Filter pane by clicking a little cross in it.
- The current update makes it possible to view the name of the user who published a previous version of a library.
- By default, all the entries are selected per each filter of the Hierarchy section. With that, when you start searching for any entry of a section group, the entry checkboxes get cleared. Once you clear the search query, the entry checkboxes get back to the default status.
- Before starting your job search, you can now select to search for a job by a skill name that belongs to that job.
- We have implemented the possibility to restore an item that has been previously deleted and is currently stored under Deleted entries. You can do it directly from the Information tab of the details pane.
- UI enhancements here and there.
