Add an operating model
To add an operating model to the selected library, follow the steps listed below:
1. On the command bar, click + Add operating model, and then click Manual.
2. As a result, an empty operating model record appears in the table.
Fill in available fields with the taxonomy values.
All the taxonomies shall be added, these fields cannot be left empty.
In addition, you can upload an operating model picture. To this end, click the icon in the Picture column, and then select the picture you want.
3. Once you have defined the field values, click the confirm icon to save changes.
You can see a notification informing you that a new operating model has been successfully created. The newly created operating model profile opens and you can add more details to it, if needed, or navigate back to the library.
All the changes you have made to your library becomes available in smartApps only after publishing the library.
You can add an operating model to the already existing hierarchy. To start, select the operating model which hierarchy you want to use. Once done, click + Add operating model, and then click In selection.
In this case, you just need to define a name for a new operating model. It is not required to additionally define taxonomies as these values are copied from the selected operating model entry.
Once you are done, click the confirm icon.
