Publish as new version
Due to constant changes such as adding, editing, and removing jobs, version control is necessary for the correct functioning of the system. Use the job library versioning to save all your changes to the library, publish it, and get the unique state of it.
Once you have made any changes to your job library compared to the previously published version, you can see the following message appears at the top:
Now you can publish the job library version and make these changes available for smartApps. To this end, on the command bar, click Publish as new version. Otherwise, you can click Show version, and then click +New version in the context menu that appears.
As a result, you are notified that the job library is successfully published.
When you try to publish a version of the job library and any of its jobs has connected skills belonging to a skill library that has unpublished changes, you are proposed to publish the skill library first. To this end, click Publish in the dialog that appears. If you have multiple skill libraries with unpublished changes, you can publish those skill libraries one by one. Only one skill library can be published at a time.
Now that you have published the skill libraries, click Check and publish.
You can view all published versions of your job library listed under Show versions. To this end, just click Show versions.
The version list stores the last three published versions as well as the draft that is visible only in smartLibrary.
Once you have published a version, it cannot be further edited. SmartPeople is using the latest published version.
