Overview
smartLibrary introduces the Operating model libraries feature which is in beta.
By using the beta version of operating model libraries, you can help smartLibrary test its performance improvements, before we release the full set of functionalities.
To work with operating model libraries, use the Operating models tab of the Libraries page. Here you can add your own operating model library or use any existing one. For the collection of operating models, a standard library is available. It is the HRForecast library. The library is continuously updated and presents you with the most current and accurate data. You cannot edit the HRForecast library. We recommend using the HRForecast library as a reference for the standardized operating models presented by jobs, groups, schemas, and pictures.
To start working with a library, first, select it in the Operating model library drop-down list.
Now that you have selected a library, you can apply the following actions to it:
You can create your own library to fill it with operating models that are specific namely for your company.
To add a new library, follow the steps listed below:
1. On the Libraries page, switch to the Operating models tab.
2. On the command bar, click Library settings, and then click New library.
3. In the New library pane, you can do the following:

- Add a library name.
Here you can define a descriptive name for the library you are creating. - Add active languages.
Here you can define one or multiple languages for the operating models of the current library. - Connect job libraries.
Here you can define one or multiple job libraries to connect them to the library you are creating.
- Add a library name.
To edit a library, follow the steps listed below:
1. On the command bar of the Operating models tab, click Library settings, and then click Edit library.
2. In the Edit library pane, you can do the following:

- Edit a library name.
- Connect new job libraries or disconnect the existing ones.
3. Once done, click Update library.
When managing an operating model library, you can define languages to which you want to translate metadata of operating models.
To manage languages, follow the steps listed below:
1. On the command bar, click Library settings, and then click Manage languages.
2. On the Manage languages pane, you can see a list of active languages.
3. To add a language, click the plus sign icon or + Add language.
In the Add language dialog that appears, select a single language or multiple languages to add to the library by selecting corresponding checkboxes. Once you are done, click Add.
As a result, the list of active languages is updated accordingly.
4. To change the order of language records you have added, click Open Ludi Cloud. As a result, you are redirected to the Languages page of Ludi Cloud where you can mange languages.
5. To delete a language, point to that language record, and then click the recycle bin icon.
6. Now that you are done with all your changes, click Save.
All the changes you have made to your training library becomes available in smartApps only after publishing the library.
To delete a training library, follow the steps listed below:
- On the command bar, click Library settings, and then click Delete library.
- In the Delete library dialog that appears, enter a name of the library you are deleting, and then click Delete library.
